I love Jenny B. Jones. I read many of her books when I was
younger including the Katie Parker Production books, and I love them!
They’re You’ll Find Me
I figured would be just as great. It’s based in Ireland, a country that I’m
obsessed with, it has a cute teen heartthrob that steals the heart of the main
character Finley, and it has lessons both about God and social issues that are
relevant today.
I’m not sure if it was just the fact that I was reading it
in ebook format on my computer or that I received it before the actual release
date so it may have had time to be tweaked a bit more, but this book was
sometimes a little hard to follow because of all the grammatical errors. I
found myself getting a little distracted by “subconsciously” editing in the correct
grammar, but nevertheless the point of the story was very clear.
I’m not sure if the actual final release version of the book
is edited right or not, but I would say that don’t let that stop you from
reading it. Aside from the grammar, There
You’ll Find Me had a great story and plot. The characters were easily
relatable and a few of them had a very interesting and refreshing way of
getting what they said across to both Finley and myself.
If you are not a grammar nazi then I would highly recommend
this book!
I received this book for free from WaterBrook Multnomah
Publishing Group for this review.
